Weapon Balance Adjustments

Heirloom Rifle:

  • Refire rate reduced from 0.9s to 0.49s.
  • Damage reduced from 350/440/530/610 to 220/275/330/385.
  • Clip size increased from 6 to 12.
  • Accuracy loss reworked substantially.

Longbow:

  • Projectile speed increased from 625 to 900.

Revolver:

  • Refire rate increased from 0.45 to 0.72.
  • Damage changed from 220/275/330/385 to 350/440/525/610.
  • Accuracy loss reworked substantially.
  • Recoil timing reworked substantially.

Throwing Axe:

  • Damage increased from 800 to 900.
  • Projectile size increased from 0 to 0.5.

Shotgun:

  • Non ADS accuracy reduced from 70 to 50.
  • ADS accuracy reduced from 80 to 60.

Crossbow:

  • Changed projectile speed from 600 to 700.

Stone Spear:

  • Time between shots in burst reduced from 0.15s to 0.1s.
  • Projectile size increased from 0 to 0.5.
  • Non ADS accuracy increased to 97.5%.
  • ADS accuracy increased to 99%.

General Changes

  • Updated chicken trophy timer to 60s.
  • Sprinting no longer hides the reticle.

Bug Fixes

Addressed an issue with picking up weapons not behaving correctly while swapping weapons.

Our Thoughts

Some huge Weapon Balance Adjustments & Tweaks in this update. Most notable is the Heirloom rifle adjustments. It now fires nearly twice as fast (with reduced damage) but it also now holds 12 shots instead of 6.

A Legendary Heirloom rifle can deal 4620 damage in 6 seconds (landing 12 hits).
Before it could deal around 3660 damage in the same time (landing 6 Hits)

The Revolver has also been reworked, with Accuracy and Recoil becoming cleaner. The refire rating also increased by 0.29 seconds. Scaling with a 60% damage increase.

Stone Spear also got a large buff – with projectiles firing faster between burst shots, as well as physically being bigger (making them easier to land). They also increase accuracy from hip-firing and ADS.
