IF YOU WANT TO MASTER HUNTER | REALM ROYALE BEST TIPS & TRICKS

Hunter Guide Intro

Kiting is one of the most difficult and important things besides shooting in any Battle Royale, in Realm Royale, your skill is not how fast you can build or Control Recoil, but whether you properly use your skills. In Realm Royale each class has its own movement ability, and Hunters COMMON Dodge Roll alone is very weak. So as soon as you land, you’ll have hard time disengaging like Warrior or Mage does, that’s why you should always look for additional spells in the early game. After you manage to find or forge Legendary Dodge Roll and Withdraw, Hunter hitting his 1v1 power spike having stealth and 1.8 sec Roll to dodge every single ability or shot. In this article, you’ll see a few tricks and tips you could do with your abilities.

First things first – Find your perfect spells. It all depends on your playstyle, but we recommend withdraw with fireblast, for that burst potential.

Ability Breakdown

Withdraw is one of the most complicated abilities in Realm Royale, since you are jumping backwards, and can’t control your landing that easily while facing the opposite way.

Proper usage of your Withdraw allows you to draw the bow and 100% hit it in melee following your Fire Blast to finish the target.

Quick tip: If you shoot your weapon prior to using it – the withdraw ability bugs out and doesn’t give you stealth, keep that in mind.

On our #PhaseroSquad we have Airtyme who masters Hunter class best, and prefers to surprise the target with aggressiveness and fight melee due to low Dodge Roll cooldown, to quickly engage and disengage, not giving the enemy much time to react.

Quick tip: If you’re playing Hunter –  make sure to fully draw the Longbow. Once you are in withdraw, take that time and draw the longbow to maximum to inflict lethal damage to your target. Your damage drops significantly if you’re taping shots like shooting the Stone Spear. So make sure to hold it near the end.

As a hunter, try to think, prior to using every ability in the kit. This concerns the dodge roll too. It’s one of the worst common though the best Legendary ability that allows you to easily change directions and positioning, but using it on a terrain might cost you highground or randomly rolling into the void to make it impossible to land a shot.

Quick tip: You can close the distance from high to low ground with a combination of Dodge Roll + Withdraw + Dodge roll to finish the enemy or change the side. Also, keep in mind that you can still roll while being invisible.

Dodge roll is also a great ability to counter Assassin’s set up combination, Concussion Bomb + Headshot. If you got bombed into the air – try to Roll right before you hit the highest spot, to avoid the headshot, after that – surprise you opponent with aggressive Withdraw.

The next two abilities are situational, Proximity mine fits more passive and mid/long-range playstyle, and Fireblast is more of a melee burst ability, to finish off enemies with a combination of Longbow – Fireblast – Longbow. Proximity Mine is trickier than it looks at first, do not to put it randomly but predict enemy movement, to complete the set up of two shots + ability as a finisher.

Proximity Mine is a great spell to smoke enemies out of cover or finish them behind the trees or other terrain. Fireblast is the same as Mages fireball, dealing less damage but having higher projectile speed.

Flare – decent late game spell, but very situational compared to Fire Blast and Mine – so disenchant if you have any other rare spell to play with.

Hunter Vs Each Class

Hunter vs Hunter – When playing vs Hunter be sure to walk from Proximity mines if you spot them, and use Withdraw/Dodge Roll to get in the close range, since it’s much harder for your target to draw the bow fast enough in the melee. Combine Longbow shots with Dodge Roll to avoid direct shots and keep pressuring the enemy.

Hunter vs Assassin – Most of the time Assassin starts fight from Long range, so pay attention to the damage mark to know from where you got hit, hide and take your time to heal and armor up while your flair (or put proximity mine near your character) will spot anything coming.  Draw your bow and try to find the enemy.

Quick tip: You can close the distance from high to low ground with a combination of Dodge Roll + Withdraw + Dodge roll to finish the enemy or change the side. Also, keep in mind that you can still roll while being invisible.

Hunter vs Warrior – Warrior is the only class besides Hunter that cannot be untargeted or cannot be hit for a few seconds. Kite is the key to fight Warrior, and using Terrains to hide from Direct shots or Axes is the key way to win 1v1 in any case.

Hunter vs Engineer – Never fight Engineer in close range since Plasma Launcher and Turret are both very strong in melee, unless the engineer is hurt. Be sure kite out the barrier, and after that you got 8 seconds to finish the enemy.

Hunter vs Mage – With Stone Spear being better in open close range compared to Longbow try to avoid direct fights. You should keep the exact distance and position near terrain that allows you to Dodge Roll the Fireball and hit your shots at the same time. Pay attention to Iceblock into Soar combination, and be sure to shoot the mage in the air.
